It's that time of year, the time of year to eat way too much and spend time with loved ones. Many traditional American Thanksgiving meals will include a wide variety of foods, from the iconic turkey, to vegetables, sides, and of course, sweets.

The American Dental Association has put out a fun guide about some of the most popular dishes so that you can be aware of how they may affect your oral health (spoiler: They don't tell you not to eat any of them!).

As always, diet is important for your dental health but even more important is your dental care routine. Throughout these food-filled days, be sure to maintain your brushing and flossing habits and drink plenty of water.

Happy holidays!
